Speaking of speed, KDE has really improved in this area. KDE 3.2.1 really flies! It is very fast, the whole desktop has a snappy feel to it. The performance really has been an eye opener, especially considering that I have all of the eye candy like the translucent menus turned on. KDE was supposed to be the big bloated hog, what gives? Another big plus.
